Periodizing Your Business for Better Work-Life Balance
Kelsea Koenreich
When I was a competitive powerlifter, one of the most important lessons I learned was the art of periodization—the process of intentionally alternating between pushing hard and pulling back to rest.
Without it, I would’ve overtrained, gotten injured, or burned out entirely.
Which would prevent me from reaching the goal I had – to get stronger.
And you know what? Business is no different.
As mom entrepreneurs, we’re carrying the heaviest load of all: running businesses, raising families, and constantly juggling the demands of both. If we don’t intentionally plan for rest, we will burn out—and no amount of success will feel worth it when your health, relationships, and happiness take the hit.
In this week’s episode of The Mom Founders Table, I’m breaking down:
➡️ How to apply periodization principles to your business to create sustainable success.
➡️ Why scheduling your rest before your work is the ultimate productivity hack.
➡️ The power of planning ahead so you’re not stuck in a reactive cycle of overwhelm.
➡️ How to track your capacity and prevent burnout while still reaching your goals.
This episode will help you create a business (and life) that’s not only profitable but also enjoyable. Because we didn’t build these businesses to sacrifice everything that truly matters.
