Overworked Physical Therapist Takes 2 Month Maternity Leave in Peace

Client G is a physical therapist specializing in multiple sclerosis and the creator of a thriving online membership that supports individuals living with MS. As my longest-running client to date, we’ve been working together since October 2022, transforming both her business and her life.

The Challenge

When she first came to me, G was working 40-60 hours a week and when she wasn’t working she was thinking about work.

Turning off was a constant battle because there was always more to do, more ideas, and problems to be solved.

Her revenue was impressive as a multiple-six figure entrepreneur already, but she was torn between wanting to make more money and also being completely drained.

Before working with me, G:

  • Was working nonstop: Five days a week, sometimes morning to night, with little time left for family or personal care.

  • Had no work-life balance: Feeling tied to her desk and struggling to fully
    “turn off” work.

  • Had limited team support: No systems or processes in place, leaving her doing it all.

  • Had growing business, but no room to breathe: Torn between scaling further and avoiding burnout.

With a new baby on the way this past year, G wanted more than just financial success. She craved a life where she could thrive in her business and be fully present for her growing family.

The Experience

For over two years we have worked together in my Private 1:1 Partnership program, going through every inch of her business, and bringing awareness to her beliefs around success that kept her tied to her desk. We’ve worked on expanding her time, while limiting her workload by:

  • Building a team: We established a solid support system, identifying roles and responsibilities that allowed her to delegate effectively.

  • Implementing systems: Automated processes were put in place, ensuring her marketing and membership funnels worked seamlessly in the background.

  • Creating work-life balance: We restructured her schedule, prioritizing focused work blocks and allowing more time for her family.

The Results

In our time together, she has built a strong and dependable team, learned how to lead and communicate more effectively, set up automated processes to step away, and refined her marketing systems so that her business could run smoothly even when she wasn’t physically working.

In November, she had a $95k month which is an incredible milestone (and over 30k more than she made in this month in years prior) but what was most impressive is HOW she did it and WHO she was in the process.

She didn’t have to sacrifice time with her family, she kept her daily morning workouts and she turned off from work to spend time with her little one.

Her results came from having the right support, accountability, and perspective to align her actions with her goals.

Which is why…

  1. She was able to take two months off for maternity leave with NO stress or worry of leaving the business on auto while she was away.

  2. She is having her biggest year in business working less hours, after taking 2 months off, and bringing her first baby into the world.

Today, she spends the morning with her daughter and then she drops her off at daycare for a few hours while she does her short work block. No more than 20 hours a week and she’s still hitting major goals in her business.

Anyone can hustle, grind and run themselves into the ground…but for us moms, we just can’t do that because other people depend on us.

Her story proves that you don’t need to work 60+ hours a week to scale your business — you just need the right approach, the right support, and the right mindset.

We might be the perfect match if these are the results you’re trying to tap into.
